The Governing Board consists of seven members who are appointed by the EP Board based on profiles which are recommended by the Members. Selection is based on competence, relevant expertise and networks required. The Governing Board convenes four times a year at the least. Meetings are held as per agenda and minutes are documented. Before the commencement of the financial year, the Annual Action Plan and Budget are presented by the Management Team to the Board. By September each year, the Annual Accounts closing report and Annual Reports are presented to the Board for approval. The management team reports to the Governing Board on the progress of the activities quarterly. The Quarterly reports contain the financial report on the realization and the prognosis in comparison to the budget estimate. Reporting is based on the objectives and indicators for the year and the quarter as per budget estimates. The Governing Body also presented with transcripts of the audit reports and the Annual Review.
Mr. Vinod Kaushik is a Management Graduate from IRMA. He has over 24 years of experience in organisations like NDDB Dairy Services as Head of Dairy Value Chain, Jaipur Rugs as CEO, GEN Initiative UK as India Representative, ANARDE Foundation as Head Management Committee, Gujarat Ecological Commission, ARCOGUL. Mr. Kaushik has served on CSR Committee of CII, Agriculture & Water Committee of FICCI, NABARD Committee on Rural Credit Intensification for Punjab & Haryana, PMRY Committee for Mewat District.
Dr. Rachna Singh is a graduate from Miranda House and has a B.Ed., M.Ed., M.Phil. and Ph.D. from the University of Delhi. She won many awards as an NCC Cadet. Her subjects of specialization are Adult Literacy and Rural Women’s Education. She has over 24 years of diverse work experience including Faculty positions teaching Research, Business Communication, managing engagement between Indian and international academic and business institutions like MDI, IILM, Gurgaon, CCIP Paris, University of Robert Schuman, University of Aix Marseilles, European Embassies in India etc. She volunteered at a Special School in Canada, taught English in Tokyo, Japan. Since 2010 she has been a Director at End Poverty.
Mr. Atul Satija is an MBA from ISB, Hyderabad. He has 17 years of experience of start-up businesses, scaling and turning around businesses in some of the largest and most respected organisations globally. Until recently, he was the Chief Business Advisor of InMobi. Earlier, Mr. Satija was the Head of Mobile Business for Japan and Asia-Pacific, and Head of Business Development for India at Google.
Mr. Sukhbir Sharma is an Engineer from CTI, Gwalior. He has over 36 years experience during which he has worked with leading organizations like Hotel Meridien, Imperial, Modi Group, DLF, Jindal (JSW). His work at Bellary Karnataka has been awarded as the best township in India and in Asia. He is currently the Sr. Vice President with TCG Real Estate and is actively engaged in philanthropic initiative.
Mr. Avinash. C. Tyagi, is an alumnus of the University of Roorkee, India and a post graduate from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. He has 44 years of experience dealing with various facets of water resources management devoted to poverty reduction at various levels in the government, UN organizations and NGOs. A strategist who has helped many reputed organizations in articulating and adopting a long-term vision such as - ICID Vision 2030; World Climate Conference-3; Global Framework for Climate Services for the provision of climate services for water and agriculture sectors; the India Water Vision on Water for the 21st Century and National Water Policy of India 2002. As part of the management team, he has successfully re-structured and turned-around institutions, both at the national and international level that he served. He has served as Governor in the Board of Governors (BoG) of World Water Council representing ICID; Governing Board of UNESCO-IHE, Delft; Governing Board of ICHARM; and Chair of International Flood Network IFNet. Mr. Tyagi, is an ardent advocate of multi-disciplinary collaboration for solving complex development challenges, and in continuing dialogue among various stakeholders and community participation in the water sector.
Mr. Rajesh Mehta has done PGDBM from Fore School of Management and he has over 20 years of experience in Industry. He specializes in setting up new companies and organizations, building on core management competence and advised international organizations like APCO World Wide, Tekes, Finnode, Finpro, European Business Technology Centre through the efficient network, contacts, and skills. He is Senior Advisor to Red Fort Strategies, EU Gate India, Infinite Sum Modelling and APCO Worldwide. He has advised CEO's, Governments, Diplomats, Business Associations and Philanthropic Organizations. He has authored number of reports, books, policy papers, compendiums etc.
